Episode 11 – Glory Days of Gold (Conversion Therapy with special guest Dougie Cameron)
Welcome to Episode 11 of Glory Days of Gold. This week’s episode is brought to you by Glen Walker and you’ll be glad to know it’s a much shorter show this week after last week’s mammoth one!
Recorded across two continents, Glory Days of Gold brings you a regular dose of East Fife FC and Scottish football chat, with a splattering of interesting interviews, fun segments, and music thrown in along the way.
Our feature interview this week is with another member of the 2007/08 Championship winning team, left back extraordinaire Dougie Cameron.
We chat with Dougie about his time at Bayview, coming from a footballing family, his career, and his future plans now that he’s hung up the boots. We hear some fun stories along the way, and discuss his famous smelly feet!
Now, we all know how good (and tough) it is to be an East Fife fan. But what if you were trying to convince someone to become one, especially someone in another country? Well East Fife associate director and long time fan and historian Stephen Mill joins us as we try and convert Pennsylvanian football fan James into joining the black and gold faithful. Can we do it?
All this and we find out if Jonny Smart fancies a chocolate digestive, Midnight Zoo are this week’s band in Have You Heard?, James feature in this week’s football music section Wavelength, and there’s another Who Are You?.
