Episode 94 – Glory Days of Gold (Football Feasts and Famines)

Welcome to Episode 94 of Glory Days of Gold, the East Fife and Scottish football podcast recorded across two continents.

The whole world is thinking about football just now, so that means everyone must want to hear about East Fife and Scottish League 2. Good job we’re back with another show then!

The top flights around the world may have shut down, but the Fife are still plugging away. Michael, Lee, and Gordon look back at the last three matches, games which have only seen them take one point from the available nine. Have we jinxed Greig McDonald after he was on the last show?

The team have at least been playing some good football. Is that some solace? Is it only a matter of time before the results come? What needs to happen in the January transfer window? And how big are the next three home games? We chat about all of that and a lot more.

Plus with the World Cup now underway in Qatar, we give our thoughts on what we’re expecting from the tournament and how big, or small, our excitement levels are for it.
