Fifeshire Bingo With Jimmy Young (September 5th 1970)
East Fife ran “Fifeshire Bingo” as a money generating scheme for the Club in the 70’s. The organiser may well look like Vincent Price, but he was in fact Jimmy Young.
You could play armchair bingo in the comfort of your own house whenever you felt like it, with 11 chances of winning anything from 2/- (2 shillings) to the major outright prize of £100, all for the small entry fee of 1/-.
This photo of Jimmy appeared in the September 5th 1970 programme for the visit of Raith Rovers. They would have been left in no doubt that we had some bite!
