Mr Ballantyne – A Bayview Original (February 1972)

When doing the research for this whole section you stumble across loads of wonderful things, but this is perhaps one of my favourites. It was in the programme for the game against Airdrie on February 19th 1972.

Mr Ballantyne. A great old man who was one of East Fife’s first ever supporters and watched them from when he was 8 until his dying days, and a founder member of the Leven branch of the East Fife Supporters Club.

I only wish I could have met him and heard some of his fantastic stories that he could have told.
