Episode 31 – Glory Days of Gold (What Time Is It? – East Fife v Tranent postgame show)

Welcome to Episode 31 of Glory Days of Gold.

Recorded across two continents, Glory Days of Gold brings you a regular dose of East Fife FC and Scottish football chat, with a splattering of interesting interviews, fun segments, and music thrown in along the way.

East Fife are still unbeaten in 2021! In both league and cup! A 5-1 Scottish Cup victory over Tranent on Saturday was a comfortable outing in the end after an early scare. We look back on the game, share some of our favourite East Fife Scottish Cup memories, look ahead to the cup draw, and talk about what we can take from the match into our tough league campaign.

A campaign made all the tougher with leading scorer Jack Hamilton returning to Livingston after being recalled from his loan spell. A temporary move and he’ll be back in a few weeks or do the Fife need to find a replacement asap? Can they afford to wait and see if they have enough firepower in their ranks to carry them over the next couple of games.

Will there even be games now that Covid is hitting teams in England hard? We discuss all of that and a lot more. Plus Werd (SOS) is in this week’s Have You Heard? and Dive In The Box feature in this week’s Wavelength.

Here’s the rundown for the main segments from the episode:
